Wouldnt a true God deliver a unified, consistent, undeniable message from the outset?

Why do we have 'chosen people' and a vast assemblage of gods and deities. Prophets spring up from time to time but surely the message could have been better delivered if he really did exist? For example, it seems unfortunate that ancient cultures did not even know about the Judeo-Christian God. How could they have any hope of salvation? You might spin me a yarn about these such people being granted into heaven automatically because it's only fair? Well, how fair is it to people who do have knowledge of the Judeo-Christian God being guilted into aligning their life with Christianity just because they are born in that time. Any ideas about this one? And please, religious people if you're going to reply. Dont pick some tiny scrap of my question and try to twist it. I get tired of it. Please address the major points.

  1. He does but that!
  2. You'd think so, wouldn't you. I mean, we're talking about a guy who apparently made the universe. A little thing such as making sure his people understood his word without having to interpret it would be simple, but he hasn't managed to do it. He can make a universe but he can't write a book.
  3. Islamically, the first Messenger was Adam. And all Messengers taught the same belief in God. Every person who did not hear the call of the Messengers would not be tortured in Hellfire (Qur'aan, Surat al-Israa' Verse 15). Over the years some people distorted the message of the previous Prophets. But the Message of Prophet MuHammad - which includes the same belief of all Prophets - is still preserved.
  4. Perhaps it wasn't a case of God needing to send a unified message, but rather the men receiving God's thoughts were incapable of comprehending what God was revealing to them. We know they were not too spiritually enlightened as Jesus came and taught a totally different philosophy.
  5. The kingdom of God is inside you. Understand this one unified, consistent, undeniable message and you will know the unconditional love and absolute truth that God provided through Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
  6. YES! It is about time that someone asked this. I do not believe in a god of any kind but it makes perfect sense. If there is a god and this god wants people to follow him/her/it, would this god not put forth a consistent message, completely clear and understandable, undeniable in its purpose and function? Indeed, to do anything else is simply toying with one's heart, mind and emotions. This is why there are so many convoluted opinions and beliefs, crackpot cults and so forth. Everyone can apparently take the divine and turn it into whatever they want. A clear message, in clear language would be ongoing and repeat itself for every generation. There would not be a one-time event thousands of years ago what would lead to doubt among so many later. Anyway, if there is a god out there and you showed yourself a couple of gazillion years ago and you choose not to come forward again, you are sick, sadistic, twisted and just plain unwise in your approach. Jerk.
  7. Fear and guilt seem to be the only thing that is offered. Oh sure, some will say they are basking in god's love, and I could too if only I wasn't so stubborn, wanting things to be all logical. It smacks of smug elitism to me. "We're saved, and we're so sorry you just don't get it." or "Read the bible and only the bible, and the holy spirit will guide you to understanding." Do they really think that works?? Its like peer pressure. "Don't think, just feel." "Set your brain aside, because satan controls your brain." UGH!
  8. And didn't God do just that??? He started everything with one family, and they knew God intimately. Yet, it wasn't long before they began to disavow God's authority, and sin was born. The offspring of the first sinning couple murdered his brother and then left the presence of God. As mankind multiplied, he tended to forget God, unless something really bad happened, then they start calling on Him again. But God would come time and again and reveal himself once again to noah or moses or Elijah or someone, even showing signs and miracles, but people would rather worship a carved statue than an invisible God that they keep forgetting just did some amazing act just a generation before. But God kept working with pathetic, religiously inept man, and He gathered some together and said that He had chosen them to be the lighthouse of sorts, to illuminate the world. Through them would come the messiah. Of course, once again God shows up, this time in person! So Jesus repeats what He's already said through the prophets, does the miracles, fulfills the prophecies about himself, and we kill him. He rises from the dead, and people saw him. His disciples went to their deaths believing He rose, and they told everyone. But they were killed too, and man created some other religions based on the moon, or elements, or ancestors or whatever. Even though God started man, spoke to man, appeared to man, and even had his instructions written down for man, people still worshipped idols, false prophets, themeselves, sex, sin, whatever. God did deliver a unified, consistent, undeniable message from the outset. You need to tune out the interference.
  9. "I know what the truth is because it has been supernaturally revealed to me or to someone long ago from my culture. I don't need to justify my assertions with evidence, even when actual evidence contradicts my assertions." Not all religious believers are mentally ill, by any means, But the structures of religious adherence, particularly the rigid kinds, often have correlates with those of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Mythology is an important part of humanness, but is always, ALWAYS, ambiguous. That ambiguity is the space in which we can search for what it means to be human. Once people try to literalise it, that way madness lies.
  10. THE WHOLE WORLD LIES IN THE POWER OF THE WICKED ONE 2Cor.4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2Cor.11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 1Pet.5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Rev.12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. ALL IS ALL 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
